Victor Israel Trevino (34), passed away suddenly on April 7, 2024, on Divine Mercy Sunday. He was a graduate of Texas A&M International University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a variety of professional certifications in computer science among others. Victor was presently working at Aranscia, LLC where he served as an Integrations Engineer in the Pharmacogenomics industry in Houston, Texas. Victor was also very involved with Rotary Club, having served with distinction since 2019 in both the Laredo Next Generation Rotary Club and Rotary Club of Houston Skyline. During his tenure in Laredo, he was honored as Rookie of the year in 2020 and Rotarian of the year in 2021. Later with his Houston club he was the Vice President through 2022-2023 and Rotarian of the year as well as three-time Paul Harris Fellow honoree and the 2024 President Elect of the Rotary Club of Houston Skyline always embodying service before self. Victor was a beautiful and friendly soul with a great sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and an incredible intellect. Victor loved his family and friends very much, always present at family events and ready to step in where needed. He always loved to share his fathers and mothers’ anecdotes and values and his brother’s spirit of service. He was so honored to be chosen as godfather of his two beautiful nieces Alessandra Tula and Emilia Trevino. Victor started building computers and coding since his childhood, leaving adults astonished by his natural gifts which were fueled by his loving parents and brother. Furthermore, he was a man of many talents, having loved experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, grilling, and brewing coffee, all done “Victors Way,” just to name a few. Victor was fascinated with animals having special bonds with them, which was visible through his connections with his dogs Duke and Ranger, who he loved and cared for deeply. He loved traveling, outdoor activities and was a person you can always hold an interesting conversation with because he knew something about everything through his experiences or self-study. Victor left a mark on everyone who knew him which will forever live on in our memories. He is survived by his parents Eduardo & Maira Trevino, his brother Eduardo (Margarita) Trevino and niece Emilia Trevino. On behalf of the entire Trevino/Gonzalez family we thank everyone who showed their love and support during this difficult time.
