Thelma Cedillo Boubel

Thelma Cedillo Boubel, 88, was called by the Lord to her resting place in Heaven on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

She was born in Laredo, Texas on Jan.07, 1928.

Thelma (Mom) was the proud mother of three children: Henry Anthony, Howard Glenn and Hector William Boubel and a devoted wife to Henry Boubel for sixty-one years.

Her tremendous strength came from her belief in the Lord which she professed daily.  She was dedicated to the Lord, her savior as well as her beloved church, First Assembly of God, where she taught Sunday school for over forty years.

Her family and friends will always be thankful for the gift that was her life.  She was an incredible role model for both her children and was truly grateful for all the blessings that the Lord bestowed on to her.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Boubel is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Jesus Cedillo, Oscar Cedillo, Delia Vasquez, Gloria De La Rosa and Judy Cedillo.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 61 years of marriage, Henry H. Boubel; sons, Henry A. Boubel (Dorothy Boubel), Howard G. Boubel (Yazmin Boubel), Hector W. Boubel (Jennifer Boubel) and loving grandchildren; Ashley Nicole Boubel, Christopher Boubel, Michael Bouble, Lisa Boubel, Stephanie Boubel, Kevin Boubel and Omara Ortiz, great grandson; Tristen Boubel and sister; Maria Oralia (Red) Millican.

The family will be receiving guests on November 21, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.  A prayer service will officiate at 7:00 pm.
