Sylvia Saldaña, 57, was called by the Lord to her resting place in Heaven on August 10, 2017.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sophia Betancourt: siblings; Alfredo (Azenette) Saldaña Jr., Diana (Cecilio) Sanchez, Ricardo Saldaña and Jose Luis (Zulema) Saldaña, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive guests Sunday, August 13, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Monday, August 14, 2017, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Cremation services will be held at a date.

Sylvia y yo trabajamos en conjunto en repetidas ocasiones, su muerte me cayó de sorpresa y la busqué muchas veces sin suerte por lo que decidí buscarla por otros medios y encontré esta terrible noticia. Una mujer llena de vida, de amor hacia su hija, de éxito en los negocios y sobre todo de mucha entrega personal. La aprecié demasiado y la recordaré con cariño. Abrazo grande a Sophia y a toda su familia. Abrazo hasta el cielo linda Sylvi.

Sylvia my beautiful friend, we met in high school and then worked together you were always so happy and positive I can't believe you are gone. I still remember when you called me to tell me about the birth of your daughter, you sounded so extremely happy and proud. You are now a beautiful angel watching over your daughter and family. My deepest condolences to all of the family, I pray to God that he gives the family the strength during this hard time. Rest In Peace my beautiful friend.
Mi mas sentido pesame para la Familia de Sylvia Saldana. Tuve el privilegio de conocer a Sylvia en 1982 Durante 35 anos fuimos Amigos y Colegas. Siempre me recibio con una sonrisa y con palabras amables. Lamento mucho su partida aun que se esta con Dios en el mejor lugar. Mis oraciones para su Hija y toda su Familia y Amigos!
