Saul Hector Zambrano, 64, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012. Mr. Zambrano born October 10, 1947 in Hebbronville, Texas was a veteran of the US Navy who served in Vietnam. During that time Mr. Zambrano received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal/ Two Bronze Stars and Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was an avid sportsman who loved cattle ranching at Buena Vista Ranch in Bustamante, Texas especially with his sons. Mr. Zambrano is survived by his beloved wife; Josefina Zambrano; beloved children, Erica Zambrano, Billy Joe (Brenda) Zambrano, Josette (Miguel) Zambrano and Saul Hector Zambrano, Jr.; grandchildren, Eric Zambrano, Albert Leza, III, Jolynn Mendoza and William Jaden Zambrano; brothers, Sergio I. (Yolanda) Zambrano, Javier L. (Nelda) Zambrano and Juan J. (Angelica) Zambrano; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Family will be receiving relatives and friends Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012 from Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services to San Luis Rey Church. Holy mass will commence at 8:30 am. Pallbearers will be; Billy Zambrano, Saul Zambrano, Jr., Sergio Zambrano, Javier Zambrano and Erica Zambrano. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and the United States Navy.
