The world lost a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Sandra Valls Banda, 68 on Thursday December 10, 2020. Sandra battled cancer, but it never stopped her from giving out the best hugs or working hard to help others even while she battled so fiercely. Sandra died in her home surrounded by her husband Arturo Banda and children, Manuel (Erica) Pena, Sandra (Luis) Villarreal, Patricia (Alberto) Campos, Priscilla Banda, Bernadette (Joey) Medina, Grandchildren Michael (Dana) Pena, Brandon Pena, Kaycee Pena, Alexandria Villarreal, Luis Villarreal Jr., Adrian Villarreal, Alberto Campos, Isabella Campos, Daniel Campos and Sophia Moreno. She is also survived by many relatives that include brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law that she considered more like sisters and numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and close friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will start at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Pena, Brando Pena, Luis Villarreal Jr., Adrian Villarreal, Alberto Campos and Daniel Campos. Honorary pallbearers are Gerardo Banda, Ray De Leon, Roger De Leon, and Filiberto Banda.
The family would like to give their utmost gratitude to Dr. Xavier Cantu, Dr. Mohsen Mahani, Dr. Antonio Santillan, St. Anthony’s Home Health, Altus Hospice and her nurses for all their care and attention, especially her nurse Vianca Cipriano who she loved very much and always believed in.
