After fighting a courageous battle with illness, Sandra Elizabeth Torres earned her angel wings on July 16, 2016, joining her Heavenly Father.
Sandra born in Mexicali Baja California, Mexico, but was raised in Laredo most of her life. She was the sweetest, kindness soul who gave all of herself to those that needed any little thing.
Miss Torres is preceded in death by her parents: Juan (Estela) Torres, brothers: Raul Torres and Juan Torres Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Daniel (Yolanda G.) Torres, Diana Lorraine (Jacobo) Barrientos and Gerardo Torres, nieces: Deziree L. Barrientos, Danyelle “DJ” Barrientos and Nelly Torres, nephews: Juan Daniel “JD” Torres and Gilbert Torres, grandnephews: Mathew J. Torres, Isaac A. Torres and Ian D. Torres, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and friends. Anyone attending the services is encouraged to please wear white as per her request.
The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to the nurses and doctors in the ICU Unit at LMC.
The family will receive guests Wednesday, July 20, 2016, from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held, Thursday, July 21, 2016, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Losing someone we love is nothing easy, but knowing that we have been able to be a part of the life of that person, we can realize that we are blessed to have been able to share in her life before she went to rest in eternal salvation.
