Rest in Peace my old Friend-we played football together at Martin High School in 1963. I know you graduated from Nixon, but once a Tiger always a Tiger. My condolences to the family.
My deepest condolences to the family of my good friend Ruben Vela. I pray for strength for all the family. He will be greatly missed.
In behalf of David Lozano and family, I want to extend my sincere condolences to all the family. Prayers are with you and the entire family. He was a good friend.
Sincere condolences to the Vela family.
My earliest memories of Ruben go back to El Siete Nuevo, Russell Terrace, and the mid 1960's. Man, some of the things we did, the adventures had! What an athlete in his youth!! If foe, Ruben could be your worst enemy. If friend, loyalty was his hallmark. RIP buddy.
May you rest in Peace Ruben, Have memories of when we were in Jr. High School. My Condolence for the Family of Ruben and Friends. RIP.
I have very fond memories of friendship and playing ball with Ruben from our Little League years to our graduation from Nixon High School. Ruben was kind hearted and an extremely talented athlete who served our country with honor. Look forward to seeing you again in heaven.
