Rosaura Pérez, 69, went home to the Lord on September 2, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hermerejildo and Carmen Pérez.
Rosaura was an educator at Bruni Elementary School with LISD for 33 years and taught 1st Grade for the greater part of her career.
Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Daniel (Diana) Pérez, Roberto (Rosa) Pérez, Graciela (Alonzo) Rendon, several nieces, nephews, grand nephews, grand nieces, great-grand nephews and great-grand nieces as well as many other relatives and friends
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Alex Blanco and staff, Dr. Cynthia Cantu and the staff at Laredo Specialty Hospital Wound Care, Dr. Carlos Espinoza and staff, Healing Hands Home Health Care, Express Ambulance Service, and her caregivers Lilybeth, Abtaly Arce, and Elsa Delgado.
Family will receive guests Wednesday September 6, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 7, 2017, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral mass will start at 10:00 a.m. Committal services will immediately follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

My condolences to the family. I taught with Rosaura for many years at Bruni Elementary School. She was a great teacher who cared about her students. I have many good memories of her.
