Rosa Soto, 79, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016.
Rosa leaves behind a life well lived and a legacy of love and family unity. Her role as wife, mother and grandmother, were the most important things to her. Family was where she drew her strength and what she enjoyed most of all, especially with the frequent events at her namesake Rosita Ranch. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of love, shown through her constant affectionate gestures will never be forgotten.
Rosa was an avid gardener and was blessed with a green thumb. Gardening came easy to Rosa as she had the qualities necessary to be an exceptional gardener: patience, caring and a love for all living things.
Even though her passing was unexpected and a tremendous loss, her family is comforted knowing that Rosa, a devout woman of faith, is now with the Lord our God and with the Virgin of Guadalupe she loved so much.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Pedro Soto, her children: Jose Manuel (Marina) Soto, Fernando (Maria Antonieta) Soto, Ana Velia (Fidel) De La Cruz, Rosa Maria (Guillermo) Mier, Andrea (Marco) Salazar, Dora Alicia (Lauro) Ramos, Pedro (Ana) Soto, Jr., Jesus (Sandra) Soto, Jaime (Carolina) Soto, Juan Javier (Aurea) Soto and Rodrigo (Ruth) Soto, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers: Ernesto (Ana Maria) Torres and Salvador (Elena) Torres, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
The family will receive guests, Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Sentimos mucho la perdida de su ser querido por eso queremos compartir con ustedes el consuelo que Dios nos da mediante las escrituras. Por ejemplo Dios nos promete eliminar la muerte, en Revelación o Apocalipsis 21:4 dice que "Dios limpiara toda lágrima de los ojos y la muerte no será más". En Hechos 24:15 dice que "va ha haber una resurrección". Entonces podemos decir que nuestro amoroso Jehova Dios tiene el poder y el deseo de eliminar para siempre la maldad y el sufrimiento. Y les devolverá la vida a nuestros seres queridos que hayan muerto.
Yo soy la resurrección. El que cree en mí, aunque muera, vivirá; y todo el que vive y cree en mí, no morirá jamás Juan 11, 25-26 Señor Jesucristo, Hijo de Dios, que quisiste tener una madre en la tierra, la Virgen María; mira con ojos de compasión a tu sierva Rosita Soto, a quien has llamado del seno de nuestra familia. Y por intercesión de Santa María de Guadalupe, bendice el amor que siempre nos tuvo en la tierra, y haz, que desde el cielo, pueda seguir ayudándonos. Toma bajo tu protección misericordiosa a toda su familia a quienes ella ha tenido que abandonar en la tierra y dales el consuelo que todos ellos necesitan. Las familias Gutierrez Ruiz (Gerardo), Gutierrez Ramirez (Gustavo) y Zamora Gutierrez (Lolita) les enviamos nuestras condolencias , apoyo y ofrecemos por nuestra amada tia todas nuestras oraciones y buenas obras. Today I finally got the strength to tell my kids that their great grandmother Rosita has gone to be with God in heaven. You were deeply loved by all of us. We will all miss you so much. My crying babies are comforted as I explain to them that you will watch over us from heaven and help God keep us safe and protected always. With lots of love and tears from your grandson Jose & Araceli Soto
