My memories are not very many. I will share that Uncle Will would play his steel guitar around the campfire at family gatherings. As a kid it was often a lot of fun. I remember when we was fifteen I went to visit him and Aunt Alice with my dad. It was always strange to me to be out in the middle of the desert. It was fun to go look for weird rocks and chase tarantulas. I will miss being able to say hello.

Alice Kaye, Butch and family, I am so saddened to hear of Ronnie’s passing. We are blessed to be left with some very happy memories. You and Ronnie are a part of my happy memories of when I first came to live in Laredo over 50 years ago. You both were such good friends to Roger that he loved a lot. My thoughts and prayers are with you and his loved ones at this time.

Truly a unique individual. My most precious memories through my teenage years in Laredo include all the “good times” we had and into my years as a young man there, Ronnie was always there to lend a helping hand and keep us all “on track”. “Chief” might be gone, but never forgotten. My deepest condolences Alice Kaye.
Very sorry to see Ron leave us. He was a great friend to me. My deepest sincerest condolences and prayers. Gone, but never forgotten. Jack
