Roberto De Luna, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend was called to his eternal rest on Sunday, February 8, 2015.
He was born in Laredo on November 21, 1952, and met the love of his life, Laura, 45 years ago. They shared 38 beautiful years of marriage raising 2 daughters, Claudia and Patty whom they gave in marriage to Antonio Rodriguez and Emmanuel Villarruel. They welcomed 3 grandchildren: Gabriel Adán, Carolina Belén and Marcos Emmanuel. Also left to cherish his memory are his 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He filled our lives with songs, poetry and laughter.
Mr. De Luna is preceded in death by his parents: Manuel De Luna and Lucia Garcia, maternal grandmother: Anita Aldaco.
The family will be receiving family and friends Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ramiro Ramírez, Jr., David Ramírez, Robert Frausto, Antonio Rodriguez, Emmanuel Villarruel, Alfredo Medina, III, Ernesto Cruz and Joey Cruz.

Laura and family, I was so very sorry to hear of the death of Roberto. The years I worked with him at Lobo, he was such a sweetheart, always helpful and kind. I also remember he made me a couple of cassette tapes of some of my favorite music like "Rene Rene". I know how hard it is for us to see our loved ones unwell or hurting so rest assured that he is now in a place that knows none of the pain anymore. God Bless all of you. With love, Joann Perez
