Roberto Ariel Barrera

Roberto Ariel Barrera, 65, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Barrera was an avid sports fan, baseball and soccer being his favorite; he enjoyed going to the mall and watching movies. Mr. Barrera was well known for his great sense of humor and immeasurable love towards his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years of marriage: Martha Barrera, his children: Sonia (Armando) Soto, Jr., Roberto (Blanca) Barrera, Jr., Cassandra (Joe) Campos, Julia (Victor, III) Reyes and Ramon (Cristina) Barrera, grandchildren: Armando, III, Christian, Alexandra, Gabriel Soto, Rebecca, Aaron, Joe Matthew Campos, Ariana Reyes, Ramon, Jr., Natalie, Angelica and Vivianna Barrera. The family will be receiving guests today, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Fred Dickey Funeral and Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A holy rosary will be recited at 6:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Devine Mercy Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00am. Interment will follow immediately to the City Cemetery.
