Robert Lopez, 84, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, December 22, 2022.  Mr. Lopez was a proud veteran, loving husband, stepfather, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents; Manuel and Esperanza Lopez and sister; Esperanza Holford.

He is survived by his wife; Silvia Lopez, stepdaughter; Irma V. Alonzo, Mark Zuniga who he loved like a son, sister/brother in law; Richard (Vilma) Johnson, sons; Robert Landon (Roxanne) Lopez, Jose Manuel (Linda) Medina Lopez and Kenneth Bowker, daughter; Lesley (Steve) Viner; grandchildren; William Viner, Jude Viner, Luca Viner, Gabriel Lopez, Marco Lopez, Shannon Lopez, Preston Lopez and Sheena Bowker, nephews; Frankie Higgerson and Will Holford and niece; Dionne Holford.

An Inurnment will occur on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Laredo City Cemetery at 10:00 am and Military Honors will be presented by the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard and flag folding presentation by the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard.

Irma, we are so sorry for your loss. Our deepest condolences to you and your mom, Sylvia and the family. We know you all must be devastated but just know that we are here. Mr. Bobby will be greatly missed. Heaven was in need of a bright angel so Mr. Bobby gained his wings and was called upon. May he rest in peace.
