Obituary

Raquel Zoellar Before071

Raquel Zoeller, 81, was called by the Lord to her resting place in Heaven Saturday, February 10, 2018.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

In the glorious presence of our Lord God and Jesus Christ, Raquel, our mother, grandmother and sister in Christ dwells.

After a long and debilitating illness, Raquel is now free and finally home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where there is no more suffering and no more pain through God’s amazing grace and great love.

“My chains are gone, I’ve been set free; My God, my Savior has ransomed me; And like a flood His mercy rains; Unending love, amazing grace.” (Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) – Michael W. Smith)

As the Leal family mourns the physical absence of their matriarch and one of God’s mightiest prayer warriors on earth, they rejoice that God has earned another angel in Heaven, an angel who will be do their bidding in the spiritual realms.

Raquel had lots of friends and a sentimental heart, often sharing an encouraging word or giving a kind donation to those less fortunate as she professed her faith. This went hand in hand with the sharing of her love and kindness towards her pets and all animals.

She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Zoeller is preceded in death by her husband Ned Zoeller.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Jose (Marissa) Leal, Jr., Raul (Irene Gloria) Leal, Gerardo Javier (Leticia) Leal and Melissa Leal; grandchildren, Alejandro Jose Leal, Adriana Leal, Carisa Rubi Leal, Melissa Raquel Leal, Stephanie Atwell Santos, Priscilla Atwell, Anaissa Ariana Leal, Gerardo Javier, Jr., John David Carrillo II and Liliana Gutierrez; siblings, Homero Rodriguez and Maria Flores.

Special thanks to her caregivers Pilar and Tella for their love, care and kindness.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life service, Pastors Norman and Sandra Howell officiating. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am.  Pall bearers will be Jose Leal, Jr., Raul Leal, Gerardo Javier Leal, Alejandro Jose Leal, Gerardo Javier Leal, Jr. and John David Carrillo II.  Cremation service will be at a later date.

So sorry for your loss. In the Bible we can find hope because in Acts 24:15 talks about “a resurrecction”. Jehovah God has the desire of bringing back to life our loved ones and he will accomplish that in the near future.
