I just found out today of Raquels passing. We graduated together in 1962 and she has been a dear and beloved friend since then. My wife, Nena, and I used to see her often at Mass at St. Patrick. She was loved by many. A truly nice, beautiful person with a beautiful soul. I always search the Obits in the newspaper, but Irma Ayala told me the obit did not make it to LMT. Irma also told me she had a daughter and son and from what I see in the picture she also has a beautiful grandson. I can alsmost guarantee you that she went straigjt to HEAVEN! I will still pray for her soul everyday, M-F for the next few years. I was blessed to have known her and I am so sorry I did not attend her funeral! My most sincere apologies and I hope Raquel will accept my and my wife's apologies. With all our LOVE.

Sending my warmest condolences and sympathy for Raquel’s family and her friends. I had the honor and privilege of working with her at legacy U.S. Customs Service back in the 80’s. I truly enjoyed her fun and laughter for many days. RAQUEL had zest for life, was a go-getter, and loved so many people along the way! She was a classic lady with grace and charm! I will wear red and white to honor her even though I cannot attend her service. Sending my prayers and deepest sorrow!
