Rafaela Arce, 79, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Arce was a devoted mother and grandmother whose interest included gardening, reading, tending to her birds and cooking for her family. She devoted much of her time and energy to all her children especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Arce is preceded in death by her daughter: Araceli Arce, parents: Trinidad (Maria Luisa) Gonzalez and loved as a mother, Clarita Gonzalez.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband: Gonzalo Arce, children: Lauro Luis (Alicia) Arce, Gonzalo (Diana) Arce, Jose Trinidad (Alma) Arce, Maria Luisa (Jose Raul) Cantu, Rosalinda (Javier) Serna, Margarita Delgado, Claudia Arce, Sylvia (Jesus) Gonzalez and Patricia (Juan Antonio) Delgado, 32 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving guests Wednesday, December 9, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a holy rosary will be recited at 7: 00 pm.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow to Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Jesús González, Miguel A. Herrera, Lauro Luis Arce, Gonzalo Arce, José Trinidad Arce and Lauro Luis Arce, Jr.
