Pilar “Pilo” Arenivas, 81, was called by the Lord to his resting place in Heaven on July 13, 2017.
Mr. Arenivas is preceded in death by his father: Remigio Arenivas, mother: Dolores De Leon Arenivas, sisters and brother: Abelina Vidaurri, San Juana Gutierrez, Esperanza Williams, Graciela Uvalle and Martin Arenivas.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Celia Arenivas, daughter: Diana Elsa Sandoval, grandchildren: Robert (Christina Y.) Sandoval, III, Rolando Sandoval, Gina M. (Oscar I.) Ortiz and Randy (Cristina) Sandoval, 15 great grandchildren: Robert Sandoval, IV, Anyssa K. Sandoval, Leah G. Sandoval, Cristian Rhys Sandoval, Robert Sandoval, Christopher Sandoval, Rolando Sandoval, Elise Sandoval, Jessica Ponti, Oscar Inocencio and Oscar Isaac Ortiz, Daniel Ivan Ortiz, Destiny Sandoval, Andy Sandoval and Ezra Sandoval, sisters: Josefa Morales and Raquel (Jesus) Berlanga, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Arenivas will be greatly missed.
The family will receive guests Monday, July 17, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Funeral mass will start at 8:30 am. Pallbearers will be: Robert Sandoval, IV, Robert Sandoval, Christopher Sandoval, Rolando Sandoval, Oscar Inocencio and Oscar Isaac Ortiz. Cremation service will be at a later date.

May he rest in peace and at this moment is reminisce of all the times we went to the landfill almost every weekend and to talk to his friends like Mr. Wise and Botello.
