Oscar Vicente Carreon

Oscar Vicente Carreon, 83, went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 17, 2014.  Mr. Carreon is preceded in death by his wife: Alma O. Lopez de Carreon, parents: Vicente Carreon and Ofelia Fernandez de Carreon.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Olga (Gilberto) Sanchez, Elva Almanza, Maria del Rosario (Omar) Arevalo and Rosa del Carmen (Eduardo) Velasquez, grandchildren: Mario Alberto (Jessica) Almanza, Jr., Elva Isabel Almanza, Oscar Eduardo Velasquez and Victoria Isabel Velasquez, great-grandchild: Romeo Alessandro Almanza, brother: Humberto Carreon, numerous family and friends.  The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Laredo Specialty Hospital 2^nd Floor, Doctor’s Hospital ICU, Farias Home Health and health care provider, Maria Zapata.

The family will be receiving guests Tuesday, March 18, 2014, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church.  Funeral mass will commence at 10:30am. Interment will follow immediately to the City Cemetery.
