The years keep passing without mercy on my heart
So fast it feels I can't keep up with all and I was left behind to the day after the week after
Suddenly all started to fade away
Songs are not playing no more
Less to nothing feathers appearing to me
And less to empty dreams about you
With all that is happening around me and inside me I got distracted
Then I wander if it is better like this
So I won't be missing you and feeling sad
But I come to realize that you are becoming just a picture
The thing that I was most afraid to happen after you left
The same thing that happened with grandma and grandpa when they became just memories and pictures
It's happening to you
And
It is good or is it bad?
Would that mean that my mourning is over?
Or is that you are gone for good ?
I can't process it
Today I looked up your name
And I ended up here
Now your picture is on the internet
On an obituary

And I see you smile in that picture
Such an special picture now
Is in your resting place in the candle at the home entrance
In a little stamp on one of our cars
But the smile is so hunting
So much I want to close my eyes and see it one more time live
Or at least on a Dream
