Nestora S. Martinez, 87, passed away, Tuesday, September 30, 2014, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her husband: Arturo S. Martinez, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Melinda (Juan) Guerra, Jr., Arturo (Martha) Martinez, Jr., Elsie (Leon) Hernandez, Sandra (Jeffery) Babcock and Cordelia (Patrick) Nava, grandchildren: Melissa Guerra, Kirstin (Jose Juan) Vasquez, Diana Guerra, Michael (Debbie) Guerra, Ricardo R. (Melissa) Martinez, Roberto R. Martinez, Selina (Andrew) Fitch, Cynthia (Oscar) Garza, Humberto L. Acevedo, III, Christopher Acevedo, Jennifer (John Eric) Rodriguez, Arthur Joseph Babcock and Matthew Cole Nava and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends, Sunday, October 5, 2014, from 5pm to 9pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 6:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014, from the funeral home to Holy Family Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00am. Interment will immediately follow to the City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to our friends from Nurses on Wheels, 1101 3rd Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78404.
