Nancy Foster Ager passed away on May 18, 2016, in San Antonio after a courageous battle with cancer.
Nancy was born and raised in Laredo and educated in Laredo schools. She was a travel agent with VIP Travel for many years and indulged her love of travel with trips all over the world. She was especially fond of visiting friends in England and had special memories of an African safari.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Lloyd Warren Emerson, second husband Douglas Clarence Ager and by her brother Richard Foster of Laredo. She was also preceded in death by her parents Edwin Atlee Foster and Adelaide Bunn Foster, by her paternal grandparents Edmund Jarvis Foster and Delia Mackin Foster, and by her maternal grandparents Adelaide and Travis Bruce Bunn.
She is survived by her children Barbara Lee Emerson (James Elliott) of University Park; Karen Emerson Vogt (Tom) of Mesa, AZ; Jo Ann Emerson (Craig Grabowski) of Lincoln, NE; Robert Douglas Ager (Donna) of Anniston, AL; and Debra Marie Betts (Russell) of New Waverly. She enjoyed the company of her six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She is also survived by sisters Dorothy Harding of Alpine, Mary Alice Deike (Oliver) of Fredericksburg, Delia Rancich of El Paso; Judith Earle (Duncan) of El Paso and sister-in-law Adrianna Foster of Laredo.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Drive, Laredo, TX at 10:30am.
