Mr. Treviño was a World War II veteran that served his country serving overseas in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia. It was while in the service that he honed skills as an amateur boxer. This interest began when as a teenager he would accept challenges to box fighters that came to town with traveling circuses.
He retired from the General Services Administration as a supervisor where he was recognized and received numerous awards for implementing procedures that were innovative and resulted in reducing costs and increasing efficiency. Easily described as a jack of all trades, he would often do electrical contracting.
