Mercedes A. Gutierrez, 92, was called by the Lord to her resting place in Heaven on July 26, 2017.
Mercedes is preceded in death by her loving husband: Federico Gutierrez, son: Antonio Arriaga, sisters: Olivia Arriaga, Bertha Garcia and Estela Carreon.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Martha Nieto, Ninfa Gutierrez, Bertha G. Lujano, Irma Flores, Federico (Rosa Vivian) Gutierrez, Rosalinda Gutierrez, Hector Treviño, Blanca Carrillo, Rosalinda Torres and Alexis Hurtado, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive guests Sunday, July 30, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 31, 2017, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Funeral mass will start at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Juan Nieto, Jr., Kevin Zamora, Jorge Reyna, Joel Torres, Jr., Juan Arriaga, Haziel Gutierrez, Guillermo Martinez and Luis Nieto.
