Recordando a mi Tio Martin…… My Tio was a business entrepreneur, a family man, but most importantly a gentleman with great character and charisma. An inspiring individual that despite the myriad of monumental challenges of life, my beloved Tio broke down barriers and through his strength, spirituality and fortitude, my Tio made a difference in many people’s lives. In his presence he always showered me with everlasting love, care and overwhelming comfort. Though our many encounters were often brief, he made me feel loved and I always left his side feeling inspired to be best I can be. I am forever grateful for the great memories and opportunities I had to share with him.... He was kind, humble and most importantly he was very unique and one of a KIND. My Tio outlined and defined for me, the true essence of a gentleman = incorporating self respect, the importance of character and the visual perception of how a gentleman should portray himself. My Tio Martin was classy and original, but he never forgot where he came from. He was extremely fond of his roots and proud of his heritage. As the heavens welcome and embrace his soul, may his memory and the loss of our beloved Tio remind us ALL, to never take life for granted. To LOVE those who are dear and close to US... like there is no tomorrow. That we leave all regrets behind and realize that we live on this planet for a very short time. That we should do our best to make a difference in people's lives and thus we should embrace to Seize the Day, each day.... Tio thank you for helping me define and shape my life, for instituting key and important principles that I have utilized throughout my life. Tio I am filled with a heavy heart, but I know we will meet again…..
