Maria I. Chaires, 62, was called by the Lord to her resting place in Heaven on March 18, 2017.

Ms. Chaires is preceded in death by her parents: Victoriano and Consuelo Chaires, sister: Blanca Lidia Chaires, brother: Victoriano Chaires, Jr. and sister-in-law: Lourdes Chaires.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Francisco (Catalina) Chaires, Jose Fidel Chaires, Gloria (Miguel) Olivares, Simona Chaires, Guadalupe (Martin) Garcia, Delia Becerra, Consuelo Chaires and Leticia (Juan) Saldaña, nieces, nephews and other relatives.  The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Drs. Carlos Orces and Idelfonzo Flores.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, March 21, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.   A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at San Agustin Cathedral. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am.  Interment will follow to the City Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be: Martin Garcia, Jr., Roberto Garcia, Johnny Saldaña, Danny Chaires, Edmundo Reyes and Jose Chaires.
