Maria Del Carmen Baca Gonzalez went to be with Our Lord, Thursday, April 3, 2014.

She was a blessing to everyone that she came across. She was a leader at her home church for 23 years. She volunteered numerous hours with the church youth. She enjoyed attending church retreats and was always ready to extend a hand to anyone in need. She was a woman of faith who covered each member of her family in prayer each day. Her biggest joy were times when all of her family would gather together. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and will be in our hearts forever. Her unwavering faith leaves behind a lasting imprint in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Baca Gonzalez is preceded in death by daughter, Patricia “Pat” Olguin Baca and husband: Alfredo Baca.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Carmen Baca, Lourdes (Robert) Rossel, Adriana (Eduardo) Martinez, Alfredo (Imelda) Baca, Jr., Jesse (Diane) Serna and Sandra (Juan) Salinas, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, other relatives and numerous friends.

The family will be receiving guests on Sunday, April 6, 2014, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Drive, Laredo, TX 78041, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00pm.  Funeral services will be Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services chapel.  Chapel service will be officiated at 10:00am by Pastor Jose Luis Renteria.   Interment will follow immediately at the City Cemetery.
