Maria De La Luz Montemayor, 80, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023.

Mrs. Montemayor is survived by her husband of 58 years of marriage, Federico Montemayor Sanchez; children, Blanca Montemayor, Maribel (Joel) Morales, Federico (Griselda) Montemayor, Osvaldo (Sara) Montemayor, Osiel (Martha Elizabeth) Montemayor and Victor Alfonso (Zaira) Montemayor; grandchildren, Leslie Annette (Richie Baca) Villarreal, Jose Roberto (Jennifer) Villarreal, Jr., Jocelyn (Juan Alvarado) Villarreal, Joel (Kassandra) Morales, III, Mallely Morales, Federico Uriel Montemayor, Daniel Montemayor, Jannet (Christopher) Alardin, Osvaldo Montemayor, Jr., Mariano Montemayor, Ashly Elizabeth Montemayor, Brianna Itzel Montemayor, Victoria Andrea Montemayor, Diego Alfonso Montemayor, Victor Javier Montemayor and Andres Daniel Montemayor; 9 great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends that will greatly miss her.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  A Holy Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services to St Jude Catholic Church.  Holy mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.  Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
