Maria De La Luz Iruegas, 70, passed away February 6, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas.  Maria was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas to Benito Martinez Reza and Concepcion Martinez De Martinez.  She was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Tx.  Maria was married to Mario Humberto Iruegas and had two children, Cesar Humberto Iruegas (Patricia Vanessa) and Karla Nayelli Louviere (Jon-Paul).  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Marlen, Aryanne, Chelsea, Cesar, Kayla, Karolina, Kathlyn, Katelynn and Joseph;  and great grandchild Skylar; siblings, Mario Martinez, Jose Artemio Martinez and Maria Del Rosario Hernandez.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Roberto Martinez, Benito Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, Hermilo Martinez, Claudio Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Elisa Silva and Ana Maria Martinez.

The family will be receiving guests on Monday, February 12, 2024, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 13, 2024 from the funeral home to Christ The King Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am.  Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
