Margarita Gutiérrez Pérez

Margarita Gutiérrez Pérez left this earthly existence to join our Heavenly Father on January 10, 2014.  We mourn deeply the loss of our Mamá, our Mague, our Tia, our “Weli.” Margarita was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, three sisters, her son Osvaldo, and her husband.

Margarita was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, on March 7, 1920, to Feliciano Gutiérrez and Margarita Guerra.  Margarita will be remembered for her sympathetic ear, and her boundless generosity and kindness.

She is survived by her sons and daughters and beloved daughters and sons in law:  Sylvia Montoya (Ismael), Roberto (Madeline) Graciela Villarreal, Aaron (Irma), María de la Luz “Luchi” Salazar (Raúl), Héctor (Velma), and María Ester “Nani” Dovalina (Pedro), and 18 grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

The family will be receiving guests on Thursday, January 16, 2014, from 5pm to 9pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Drive, where a prayer service will commence at 7:00pm.  Funeral Services will be at 10:00am on Friday, January 17, 2014, in the funeral home chapel.
