Lydia M. Martinez, 88, entered into eternal rest Friday, October 13, 2023. Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her; husband Nicolas G. Martinez; sons Nicholas Martinez and Carlos Martinez; daughter Rosa Reyna and brother Ruben Martinez.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Martha R. Tunal, Yolanda Gonzalez, Alejandra Martinez, Estela Mejia and Magdalena Serrano; brother Mario Martinez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends that will greatly miss her. .
The Martinez family will be receiving condolences on Sunday, October 29, 2023, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm and a vigil of the deceased will be at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from the funeral home to Saint Patrick Catholic Church located on 555 E. Del Mar Blvd. Funeral Mass will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow to the Laredo City Cemetery.
