Lydia Esther Garza, 91, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  Ms. Garza is preceded in death by her husband; Jesus Octavio Garza, grandson; Luis Contreras Jr, granddaughter; Elvira Contreras, and mother; Maria Davila.

She is survived by her children; Olivia Garza, Norma (Elias) Vega, Ninfa (Raymond) Johnson, Mary Esther Contreras and Araceli (Manuel) Garcia, grandchildren; Juan Palacios, Elias Vega, Jr., Ray Johnson, Jasmine Johnson, Kassandra Juarez, Gracie Castilleja, Manny Garcia, and Arabella Garcia, great grandchildren; Juanito Jr., Janelle, Leroy, Genesis, Joey, Harmony, Aliyah, Angelica, Raul, Alex, Andrew, Alina and Zaylee; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends that will greatly miss her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a prayer service will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a chapel service will begin at 9:00 am. Interment will follow immediately at the Laredo City Cemetery.
