She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerardo Abrego.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Ana Velazquez, Diana (Jose) Verdiguel, Gerardo (Sara A.) Abrego, Dora (Andres) Ramos, Jesus (Maricela) Soliz, Mario Antonio (Lizzy Hernandez) De Leon and Jose G. (Kassandra Vazquez) De Leon, bother, Jesus Ponce, 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-granchild, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, from 5pm to 9pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Drive, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be on September 4, 2014, from the funeral home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30am. Interment will follow immediately to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
