Luis E. Rendon, Sr., 69, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016.
Mr. Rendon is preceded in death by his parents: Santiago Enrique Rendon and Esperanza B. Rendon.
Left to cherish his memory is loving wife: Amparo M. Rendon, children: Veronica A. Cornejo, Luis E. (Janette) Rendon, Jr., Erick (Veronica) Rendon, Rick (Lillie) Rendon and Bruce (Lilybeth) Rendon, 7 grandchildren: Esteban A. Cornejo, Kassandra Y. Cornejo, Jasmine C. Rendon, Erick Rendon, Jr., Christian D. Cornejo, Daniel A. Rendon and Ariel Isabel Rendon, siblings: Sonia (Emilio) Garza, Sergio (Juani) Rendon, Patricia (Rogelio) Almanza, Gilda (Florentino) Caballero and Elizabeth (Ernesto) Alvarado, other relatives and friends. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to DHL staff, his doctors and Santa Rita Staff.
The family will receive guest Thursday, January 7, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm by Monsignor Harris. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 8:30 am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 59 and Flag Fold Presentation by the United States Army.

We would like to extent our deepest condolences on behalf of the Perez/Suarez family (Janette's cousins). Luis has been a part of our family for many, many years, and we very saddened by his and his family's loss. There are no words to console or mend your broken hearts, but you are all in thoughts and prayers. We may not have known Mr. Rendon very well, but he most certainly had to be an amazing man to have raised such a wonderful family. May his sweet soul rest in eternal light for there is no pain in the presence of God.
