Lorena Garcia, 45, went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 5, 2014.  Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters: Kimberly Bernice Mendiola, Valerie Mendiola, Kathy Lorraine Mendiola, Rochelle Marie Mendiola and Lorena Marie Mendiola, parents: Rodolfo Javier and Maria Martha Garcia, siblings: Martha (Rene) Flores, Francisco Javier Garcia, Edith Garcia, Belinda Garcia, Brenda Garcia and Marisol Garcia, former spouse: Cesar Mendiola, grandchildren: Victoria Nicole Rodriguez, Valerie Bernice Rodriguez, Destiney Villarreal, Julio Cesar Mendiola and Luis Miguel Mendiola, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family will be receiving guests Sunday, June 8, 2014, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Monday, June 9, 2014, at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services chapel.  Chapel service will commence at 9:00 am.  Interment will immediately follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

My condolences to Lorena's family. I just found out about her passing . She was a big part of our family as she took care of my wonderful grandfather Armando Torres . She was a wonderful and loving person to all of us and I'm deeply saddened to hear she is gone . God be with her daughters and husband in this very difficult time. Lorena thank you for loving my grandpa and taking care of him during those last few months of his life. I know you missed him but now you and him are together in paradise . RIP .

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her personally but my daughter Laurie was a great friend of hers, therefore, I feel as though I knew her. To Lorena's daughters, I want to relay to all of you my deepest sympathy for the loss of your beautiful & dedicated Mother. She is resting in peace before God and his son Jesus. She deserves happiness in the after life since she suffered so much because of evil people who did her wrong. I didn't know her personally but my daughter communicated with her on a daily basis because they loved each other so much. May she rest in peace.
