Our condolences to all his family. I first met Juan at the start of fall practice at L.J.Christen jr. High. We both played football back then in 1960. I didn't know his name for a while. We used to call him Manzano-his dad's nickname. We had been friends ever since-more recently, we were FB friends. Will always remember his jokes and sayings. May he RIP. Javier Montoya

To the family of Juan Soliz, so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed talking to Juan over the phone about our Apache Family Trees. I never had the privilege of meeting him in person though. He met my sister who lives in Laredo also. They and others attended the Laredo Powwows over the years. We will miss you Juan Soliz, but you will never be forgotten. Thank you for your military service also.
