Mrs. Meza, Please accept my deepest condolences to you and your loved ones. It was an honor to work with such a wonderful person. Mr. Meza would always greet everyone with a hello and a big smile. That came in handy at just the right moment because it can get crazy around here but to have him say hello got you to smile and well, the day would just get a little better. Mr. Meza will be missed greatly ... but ... will forever live in my heart.

Brother Firefighter, Juan Meza Jr. retired last December from the Fire Prevention Division of the Laredo Fire Department where he served for many years. We worked together in many fire prevention demonstrations at elementary schools through out our careers. We would talk a lot since the prevention offices were at Fire Station #2 (before they moved to the new building) where I was assigned to Fire Suppression on Engine #2. Many people knew him, he was very kind and had a warm soul. Always there to help anyone in need. My sincere and deepest condolences to his wife and son and his family. There will be no other one like him. Rest in Peace Brother.

My sincere condolences go out to my cousin's family. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He was one of my Mom's favorite nephews. He always had a smile on his face and would bring positive energy to those around him. I still remember being his and Raquel's flower girl at their wedding. They always looked so happy and were perfect for each other. The Meza family will have an angel in heaven looking after us on earth.
