Juan Manuel Perez 03/02/1947 – 10/10/2023
Juan Manuel Perez, 76, passed away with his wife and son at his bedside and was welcomed to eternal life in the kingdom of God, on October 10th, 2023. Dad was born and raised in Laredo Texas, graduated from Martin High School, and worked for the city of Laredo for over 25 years. He was a humble man who loved his children and grandchildren, far and near. An active and a devoted Christian who strongly believed that through prayer and faith, anything was and is possible. His sole duty was to protect his family through God and prayer, and he lived by that promise, praying for all of us, every day. He was preceded in death by his father, Deodoro Perez Jr., his mother, Carmen Tijerina Perez, and his brother, Deodoro Perez III. Dad is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Leticia Ytuarte Perez, his sons, Robert Castillo, Jose Luis Mata, Michael Anthony Mata, son-in-law Michael Alan Griffith, his daughters, Yvette Perez Griffith, Yvonne Perez, daughter-in-law, Eloisa Amaro-Mata, his grandchildren, Dylan Castillo, Adrianne Yvette Llanes, Caitlin Yvonne Llanes, Annalia Xotchil Lopez, Kimberly Nicole Mata, Michael Mata Jr., Kayla Rochelle Mata, Jose Luis Mata, III., Kassandra Lee Mata, Katalina Lizette Mata, Layla Carmen Griffith, Thomas “Tomas” Miles Griffith, his brother, Rolando Perez, sister-in-law, Consuelo Perez, and brother, friend till the end, Rene Perez. The memorial is a private event, thank you.
