Obituary

Juan Antonio “Tony” Ojeda, Sr. entered eternal rest on Monday, April 10, 2017.  He was born on September 22, 1959 and lived in Laredo, Texas most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Eulalia Castellano Ojeda.

Left to cherish Tony’s memory is his loving wife of 31 years, Margarita Uribe Ojeda, his children, Corina Margarita (Cesar) Holguin, Juan Antonio (Kristina M.) Ojeda, Celeste Margarita Ojeda.   Grandchildren, Adan Alonso & Adriel Antonio Holguin, Olivia Marie, Marcus Antonio and Andres Gilberto Ojeda.  His Brothers, Cesar G. (Ana Maria) Ojeda, Martin (Veronica) Ojeda and Jose C. (Raquel) Ojeda. Sisters, Patricia (Rogiero) Montemayor and Yvonne (Bruce) Swartly   His Father and Mother in law- Victor A. & Violeta R. Uribe.  Brother in- law, Victor (Viola) Uribe, Jr. Sisters in law, Violeta (Eduardo) Esparza, Ada (Simón) Medina, Jr., Azucena Uribe. He is also blessed with numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 14, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.  A holy rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral procession departed on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to San Martin De Porres Catholic Church for a mass at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal and Interment followed with a procession to the family plot at the Uribe Cemetery in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Pallbearers were: Juan Antonio Ojeda, Jr., Cesar G. Ojeda, Martin Ojeda, Jose C. Ojeda, Christian Montemayor, Bruce Swartly, Juan Manuel San Miguel, Juan Antonio San Miguel.

Honorary Pallbearers: Simon Medina, III, Victor A. Uribe, III, Eduardo Esparza, Jr., Joseph J. Medina, Jaciel Montemayor.

Reciban nuestras condolencias. El perder a un ser querido en la muerte es muy doloroso por eso queremos compartir con ustedes el consuelo que Dios nos da mediante las escrituras. Por ejemplo en Revelación o Apocalipsis 21:4 dice que "Dios limpiara toda lágrima de los ojos y la muerte no sera mas". En Hechos 24:15 dice que "va ha haber una resurrección". Entonces muy pronto nuestro creador Jehova Dios acabará con toda la maldad y el sufrimiento incluyendo las enfermedades y la muerte. Pero además nos deja saber que tiene el deseo de devolverles la vida de nuestros seres queridos que hayan muerto.

Mi mas sentido pesame para toda la familia Ojeda...Tony era puro corazon y siempre estaba ahi para ayudar a todo mundo. Que diios le de la fuerza para que pueden seguur adelante y resignacion por su gran perdida. Tony no es un adios si no hasta pronto.....Dios necesitaba un angel y te mando llamar....QUE DIIOS LOS BENDIGA!!!
