Jose S. Salinas, 86, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015.
Mr. Salinas was a US Army Veteran who proudly served our country for 30 years. He served in Vietnam War and The Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Ingeborg Katherine Salinas, parents: Santiago and Juanita Salinas, granddaughter: Denise Nicole Lockler, siblings: Ernesto J. Salinas, Graciela M. Salinas-Lopez and Juan Salinas, Sr., sister-in-law: Maria Del Refugio Salinas
Left to cherish his memory are his sister: Catalina (+Adan) Chavera, brothers: Ramiro (Enedelia) Salinas, Fernando (Angelina) Salinas and Anatascio (Maria Elena) Salinas, brother-in-law: Juan Lopez, II, sister-in-law: Angelica Salinas, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will be receiving friends, Sunday, March 1, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services chapel. Chapel service will officiate at 10:00 am. Full military honors will be provided by the American Post 59 and Flag Fold Presentation by the US Army. Interment will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 8:30 am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Wilson Ave. Fort Bliss, Texas.
