Obituary

Jose R. Peña, 83, entered into eternal rest Monday, March 19, 2018.

Mr. Peña was a proud Korean War Veteran who served our country in the US Army.

Mr. Peña was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Irma Peña; parents, Faustino P. (Amalia) Peña; sibling, Rogelio Peña and son, Jose R. “Chato” Herrera.

Left to cherish his memory are siblings, Emma P. (+Adolfo “Fito”) Rodriguez, Irma Peña Cabico Estes, Irene (+Caswell) Peña Hall, Faustino (Maria) Peña and Ramiro (Aravela) Peña, his daughter, Annabel Echeverria; grandson, Carlos A.”Charlie” Echeverria; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive guests Monday, March 26, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services.  Full military honors will be provided by the United States Army and American Legion Post 59 at 5:30 pm followed by a holy rosary at 6:00 pm.

Sentímos mucho la pérdida de si ser querido por eso queremos compartir con ustedes el consuelo que Dios nos da mediante las escrituras. Por ejemplo en Revelación o Apocalipsis 21:4 dice que “Dios limpiará toda lágrima de los ojos y la muerte no será más, ni existirá ya más lamento ni clamor ni dolor”. Y en Hechos 24:15 habla de “una Resurrección”. Jehova Dios muy pronto acabará con toda la maldad y el sufrimiento, además nos dice que tiene el deseo de devolverles la vida a nuestros seres queridos que hayan muerto.
