He is preceded in death by his father, Jose Sanchez; mother, Luisa Sanchez; siblings, Antonia Garcia, Simon Sanchez, Eugenio Sanchez, and Andres Sanchez.
Jose is survived by wife, Magdalena Sanchez; children, Rosalinda (Manuel) Reyes, Jesus (Bonnie) Sanchez, Luis Daniel Sanchez, Juan J. (Maria Santos) Sanchez, Roberto Sanchez, David (Diana) Sanchez, and Juanita (Michael) Turrubiartes, Maria Elena Sanchez, Luisa (Roberto) Elizondo, Jose Manuel Sanchez, and Karla (Brandy) Poston; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
The Sanchez family will be receiving guests on Sunday, April 2, 2023, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, at St. Patrick Catholic Cathedral, located at 555 E Del Mar Blvd, Laredo, TX 78041. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
