Jesusa Parra, 97, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 14, 2015.
Mrs. Parra is preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Maria Alvarez, husband: Catarino Parra, sons: Meme and Lauro Parra, sister: Eloisa Alvarez.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved children: Rita (Alfonso) Lopez, Mary (Eugenio) Cano, Irineo (Raquel) Parra, Juanita (Edgardo) Saenz, Jay (Martha) Parra, Raymundo Parra and Rosalinda (Dagoberto) Gonzalez, her beloved grandchildren whom she helped raise: Sylvia Sanchez, Larry Parra, Cindy Resendez, Johnny Lopez, Melissa Siller, Bobby Lopez, Sandra Medina, Jessica Cano, Ana Parra, Rene Cabrera, Jerry Cabrera, Vanessa Porras, Kristina Parra, Jay M. Parra, David Gonzalez and Daniel Gonzalez, 17 great-grandchildren, 5 great great-grandchildren and other relatives. The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Oscar Perez and Torres Home Health for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Parra.
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, March 17, 2015, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be recited at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
