Jesus Manuel Pompa Valdez “Chacho” nació el 16 de julio de 1946 en la ciudad de Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas y partió a la edad de 77 años para estar en la presencia de Dios nuestro señor el día 18 de febrero del 2024, rodeado de su familia en la paz y tranquilidad de su hogar. Le precedieron en esta jornada, sus padres Aurelio Gregorio Pompa y Amparo Valdez de Pompa.
Jesus Manuel fue una persona muy alegre, le encantaba bailar, cantar y acompañar canciones de Los Apson con una pluma. Tambien era un aficionado al deporte, sus equipos favoritos eran los Dodgers y los 49ers. Sus pasatiempos eran pasar las tardes en el patio de su casa al lado su esposa, regando sus plantas y admirando su jardin. “El Primo” como muchos lo conocian, trabajo en Telegrafos de Nuevo Laredo, Bretford Co. de Chicago, Illinois, Casso Guerra, Central de Aduanas, y tambien fue dueño de dos taquerias, (porque asar una riquisima carnita-era su especialidad) “K-Rico” Tacos al Carbon y “K-Taco” Los Originales. Fue bendecido sin medida como esposo, hermano, tio, primo y amigo, el era el orgulloso padre de cuatro hijos y fue un gran guerrero hasta el final.
Le sobreviven su esposa Oralia Pompa de 52 años de casados y sus hijos Dr.Carmen Amparo Pompa (Saul Olivan), Claudia Oralia Pompa, Jesus Manuel Pompa Jr. (Irma Aimee) y sus nietos Nina Sophia y Joaquin Manuel y Juan Pablo Pompa (Adriana) y sus nietos Aiden Matthew, Adan Nicholas, Alyssa Odet y bisnieto Adrian Pablo Pompa. Hermanos y cuñados Lupita Del Rio Pompa (ƗAlfonso), Cecilia Vela Pompa (ƗManuel), Irma Gonzalez Pompa (Antonio), Marco Aurelio Pompa Valdez (Maria Elena), Santy Gonzalez Pompa (Homero) y muchos otros familiares y amigos.
La familia esta muy agradecida con el cuidado medico otorgado por Altus Hospice Care, el Dr. Carlos Espinosa y todos los enfermeros de U.S. Renal Care, el Dr. Armando Hinojosa, el Dr. Arthur Santos, el Dr. Benson Huang y el Dr. Benji Fernandez.
La celebración de vida del Sr. Pompa Valdez se llevara acabo el miercoles 21 de febrero de 5:00 a 9:00 pm con un servicio religioso a las 7:30pm. Los arreglos funerarios están a cargo de Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services, 1320 Trey Dr., Laredo, Texas 78041 (956) 723-3611.
