Jesus “Chuy” Justo Guerra Jr., 77, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
Mr. Guerra is preceded in death by his daughter, Serina M. Guerra; father, Jesus Justo Guerra; mother, Lamar Rendon Mendiola; step-father, Ramon Mendiola; siblings, Antonio Guerra, Maria del Refugio G. Spence; Maria Lamar G. Veyna and Jose Ramon Mendiola.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 53 years, Estella S. Guerra; children, Arminda L. (Daniel) Nieto, Maricelda G. (Samuel Rene) Ramos, Jesus Justo (Cynthia S.) Guerra III, Valentina G. (Ramiro) Ortiz Jr., Javier Antonio (Cynthia A.) Guerra; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Carlota G. Piña. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Honoring the family’s wishes there will be restricted visitation to immediate family only.
For the safety of the family and the public, the family will be live streaming the services at www.freddickey.com on Sunday, starting at 5:00 pm.
Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post 59 of Laredo and presentation of the U.S. flag will be provided by the U.S. Air Force.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Aaron Guerra, Justin Gabriel Tijerina, Samuel Rene Ramos III, Derek Antony Ramos, Jesus Emmanuel Guerra, Javier Antonio Guerra II, Ramiro Ortiz III, Agustin Villanueva and Antonio Villanueva. Honorary Pallbearer is Joshua Aaron Guerra II.

To all his beloved grandchildren and great grand children, I love you and I will deeply miss my brother, Jesus. I will always keep him in my heart. Jesus left us much too soon, due to this Pandemic in the year of our Lord 2020, but he left us with an incredible model of how to live our lives. Jesus, we’ll do our best and we’ll do what’s right.
