Obituary

Jaime Jose Blanco

February 12, 1971 – January 1, 2021

Jaime J. Blanco, 49, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 1, 2021.

Jaime was born and raised in Laredo, having attended Nixon High School and LCC. He served with the Army National Guard for 6 years, with his unit being active during operation Desert Storm in 1991.

He enjoyed working with people and began delivering the newspaper in the neighborhood starting at age 9 on through 20 years of age. He went on to work with local home builders and finally selling insurance. Jaime enjoyed the outdoors and had a great love of fishing, organic gardening and especially cooking for his family. He believed whole heartedly, that cooking for others and sharing it, was a supreme act of care and love.

He was preceded in death by his parents Petronila Blanco and James Springer.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 22 and ½ years, Araceli G. Blanco.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
