Obituary

Irma S. Rangel, 80, passed away, Sunday, November 8, 2015.

Founding member of the Legion of Mary at San Luis Rey Church, Mrs. Rangel was very active at her church she was a Eucharistic minister, she conducted home and hospital visitations with fellow parishioners. CCD instructor, she would administer to the elderly and she loved and cherished San Luis Rey Church and serving the Blessed Virgin Mary.  Mrs. Rangel always encouraged everyone she met to pray The Rosary. She was a mentor and confidante to her nieces, nephews and anyone seeking her advice or guidance.  Mrs. Rangel will be missed by many.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years of marriage, Arturo Rangel, children: Roberto (Leticia) Rangel, Alejandro (Isabel) Rangel, Martha (Mauricio) Cantu, Ricardo (Adela) Rangel and Federico Rangel, grandchildren: Alex, Raul, David, Ruben, Lorena, Jessica, Rick, Kevin and Michelle, great-grandchildren: Aaron and Nathan.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, November 13, 2015, at 6:30 pm at San Luis Rey Catholic Church.

After the tears have dried and the goodbyes have been said, all we have to hold onto are the happy memories that we’ve shared with our loved ones who have passed, this is what keeps them alive in our hearts and in our minds, and they will continue to live on, through us. My condolences.
