Hector Manuel Sepulveda, Sr. passed away April 17th 2014 at the age of 77. He was born on January 1st in San Antonio, TX but resided in Laredo most of his life. He graduated from Marin High School in 1956. Hector worked at the Texas Department of Human Services for over 20 years and at Joe Brand’s Finance Department as well. Hector was a huge fan of his beloved Cowboys, Yankees, and Spurs. He is survived by his wife, Evangelina Garcia Sepulveda, son Hector M. Sepulveda, Jr. (Cindy & Kayla), and his daughter Eva J. Sepulveda. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. A very special thank you goes out to Dr. Click, Sandy, and Ofelia Cantu for always going above and beyond to help him out. Pops’ love of sports, his infectious laugh, and his colorful way of speaking will be dearly, dearly missed.
The family will be receiving guests Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm. Honoring his wishes, Mr. Sepulveda will be cremated.
