Hector Manuel Alvarado Romo, 47, was called by the Lord to his resting place in Heaven on June 7, 2017.
Mr. Alvarado worked for UISD as a bus driver for many years and for the family owned business International Taxi. He was very charismatic and a loving family man. Mr. Alvarado had a passion for traveling and enjoyed spending time with friends. Adored by many and had a way of expressing himself by making people laugh. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. Mr. Alvarado will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Alvarado is predeceased by his mother: Dora Alicia Romo, father: Jesus Salvador Alvarado, maternal grandparents: Manuel (Julia) Romo and uncle: Juan Romo.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings: Juan Rogelio (Ana Luisa) Alvarado, Jesus Salvador Alvarado, Jr., Patricia Belinda (Jose Maria) Benavides, Fernando Romo, Cordelia Alvarado, Jaime Alvarado and Celia Alvarado, aunts and uncles: Herlinda Romo, Rosa Chacon and Manuel Romo, nieces and nephews: Dora, Jesus, Jay, Brisa Alvarado, Joseph, Christopher, Ashley, Kelly, Dennis Benavides and Emilio, Norma, Andrea, Leslie, Johnny Alvarado
The family will receive guests Thursday, June 15, 2017, from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A holy rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be Friday, June 16, 2017. The funeral home chapel will open at 8:00 am. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
