Hector is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Antonio (Esther) Gonzalez. Left to cherish his memory is his mother: Miriam Gonzalez, brothers: Jesus Eduardo (Ilse) Velazquez, Jr., Carlos Ivan Velazquez, Christian Miguel Velazquez and Jordy Alan Velazquez, niece: Allison Velazquez, aunts, uncles, other relatives and numerous friends.
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, October 20, 2015, from 5pm to 9pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a prayer service will be held at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at the Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services chapel. Chapel service will officiate at 9am by Pastor Antonio Gonzalez. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jesus Eduardo Velazquez, Jr., Carlos Ivan Velazquez, Christian Miguel Velazquez and Jordy Alan Velazquez.

My sincere condolences to family & friends.Even though I did not know Hector personally I would always see him at HEB. I am a frequent customer there & Hector would always bag my groceries with his great smile! I just saw him recently. He would always ask me if I needed a carry out & I would say no thanx & he would always tell me have a good day! and that would always put a positive note in my day! and judging by that he was a great person. I will miss him from HEB but glad I would always have a small nice interaction with him. He was always smiling happy when I would see him there. May he always rest in peace. God Bless his family & friends in the difficult time.
