Guillermina “Guille” Maya, 90, was granted her angel wings on July 30, 2015. Her final days were spent surrounded by family. She was a strong woman who gave us all such courage and hope. She will be missed but never forgotten.
Mrs. Maya is preceded in death by her parents: Efren (Josefina) Aragon and husband: Agustin Maya.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Victoria (Pedro) Gutierrez, Mary (John) Strange, Carlos (Alma) Maya, Dora (Leonel) Garza, Agustin (Isabel) Maya, Jr., Mimi Jacaman and Roberto Rodriguez, 16 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters: Carlos Aragon, Efren Aragon, Jesus (Ramona) Aragon, Alicia Aragon, Josefina Aragon, Irma Villanueva and Aurora Garcia.
The family will be receiving friends, Friday, July 31, 2015, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services where a holy rosary will be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00am. Interment will follow to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Agustin Maya, Carlos Maya, Leonel Garza, Jason Maya, Christopher Jacaman and Katherine Jacaman. Honorary pallbearers will be: Carlos Aragon, Efren Aragon, Jesus Aragon and Jose Luis Jimenez.,
